"Canada's premier neo-tradsters romp from world-beat to blues, urban-pop to old-timey, with wild-eyed invention, haunting traditionalism, and spine-rattling groove." -- Scott Alarik, The Boston Globe
We couldn’t resist bringing back this fantastic roots band when we heard that they were putting together a reunion tour with the original members. The Duhks were a huge hit with our audience when they performed at our outdoor film festival in the summer of 2007. Their music spans a wide range of traditions: a syncopated bluesy banjo number follows a Brazilian samba; an old-time jaunt nestles comfortably next to a gospel shout-out. After a three year hiatus in which they worked on other projects, having the Duhks back is definitely a cause for celebration.
