Pre-Performance talk at 6:30pm
Two of the highest-caliber musicians in their areas of specialization, Paul Neubauer (viola) and Anne-Marie McDermott (piano) will be joining the Lane Series for an evening of intimate chamber music. Paul Neubauer, who, at age 21, was the youngest principal string player in the New York Philharmonic’s history, has the exceptional musicality and effortless playing that distinguish him as one of this generation’s quintessential artists. Anne-Marie McDermott’s technical gifts, exuberance, and intricately expressive interpretations have earned her critical acclaim throughout the world. They will be performing a program of Bach (English Suite, Partita #2) and Brahms (Sonatas in F and E-flat).
Sponsored by the The Lodges at Otter Creek & Shelburne Bay, Lane Series Piano Consortium, and WCVT
