“In Israel, there are two miracles: First, there is water. Second, there is the Israel Ballet.” —Anthony Tudor
Touring the US for the first time in 25 years, the Israel Ballet performs Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote. The story of the knight-errant who fought windmills during his quest to find the lady of his dreams, Don Quixote features invigorating classical dance, accompanied by rousing music and colorful costumes set against a video-enhanced backdrop. The Israel Ballet “offers an irresistibly energetic and versatile program” (Baltimore Sun). With a score composed by Leon (Ludwig) Minkus, this is an unforgettable evening of classical ballet with a Spanish taste.
Presented with additional support from the Israel Center of Vermont.
Funded in part by the
Flynn General Endowment. The General Endowment received challenge grants from the Ford Foundation New Directions/New Donors program and the Argosy Foundation which were matched by generous support from the community.

The Flynn acknowledges critical
