New England’s favorite rockabilly dance party returns for the 8th year with a Cajun twist, as Grammy–nominated, Rockabilly Hall-of-Famer, Bill Kirchen joins the Starline Rhythm Boys, Elisabeth von Trapp, and Yankee Chank. Kirchen gained renown as a founding member and lead guitarist for country-rockers Commander Cody & his Lost Planet Airmen. He played on 10 Commander Cody albums and his battered Telecaster guitar drove "Hot Rod Lincoln" into the Top Ten. Bill is also a former member of Nick Lowe’s Impossible Birds and The Moonlighters and his upcoming CD on Proper Records features a mind-boggling array of talent, including Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Jorma Kaukonen, Maria Muldaur, Paul Carrack, and Austin deLone.

Honky-tonk heroes, The Starline Rhythm Boys, will provide instrumental backing for Bill Kirchen and will also perform music from their 5 outstanding releases. The night begins with a very special appearance by Elisabeth von Trapp. Yankee Chank, “Vermont’s Cajun Band,” will follow with their combination of traditional and contemporary cajun/zydeco music. Also joining in for a solo set will be LeRoy Preston, one of Vermont's most prolific songwriters and a founding member of the 9 time Grammy Award winning band "Asleep at The Wheel."
