One of the most incendiary saxophonists on the Montreal jazz scene.
Rémi Bolduc is one of the most incendiary saxophonists on the Montreal jazz scene. Performing with intensity and fervor, Bolduc plays with adept phrasing and a stunning technicality that highlights his talents for composition. Joined by pianist Steve Amirault, double bassist Fraser Hollins, drummer David Laing, and special guest Chet Doxas on saxophone, the Remi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble has earned the appreciation of jazz lovers through their fusion of classical, jazz, and avant-garde improvisations. The evening features the intuitive partnership, complementary styles, and constant virtuosity of the work found on the group's most recent Opus Jazz Record of the Year nominated album, 4 + 1.
