How do you describe the offbeat antics of David Feherty? The New York Times called him “a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson.” With a sharp wit and irreverent style, the professional golfer turned golf analyst, talk show host and sports broadcaster has made a name for himself as one of the most hilarious and irrepressible personalities in golf. Of Feherty’s live one-man show, Golf Digest said: “Uncensored and unhinged, and worth the price of admission. It really was stupendous.” The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette raves, “David Feherty was uproariously funny. It was two hours of zaniness and madcap storytelling. People were coming out of their seats with laughter.”

The Almanzo Wilder Farm is the site of the book Farmer Boy, written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and is a historical example of how early settlers in America survived and succeeded. Success for this historical site in 2017 demands a greater reach to more visitors and the offering of a broader range of services and special events to ensure the site's viability for years to come. This benefit will help ensure The Wilder Farm continues to be a valuable source of education about early American rural life and traditional values to more families for the foreseeable future. Dean Butler, who performed as Almanzo Wilder in the television series Little House On The Prairie, will be on stage to highlight the significance of this fund raising event.
