The Tragically Hip masterfully mix mid-tempo driving rock with lead singer Gordon Downie's soulful lyrical prowess. The band's straight-forward rock-fueled anthems are dynamic rock/blues hybrids, perfectly balanced by Downie's socially aware lyrics. Over the past two decades, The Tragically Hip have developed a large loyal fanbase, becoming a household name throughout North America-particularly in the band's home country of Canada, where they were recently inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
